Corn Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 clove garlic (finely chopped)
  • ¼ onion (finely chopped)
  • 4 tbsp spring onions (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp green capsicum (finely chopped)
  • ½ carrot (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp red capsicum (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup sweet corn (frozen / boiled)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili sauce
  • 2 cups basmati rice (cooked)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Firstly, heat 2 tbsp oil and saute 3 cloves garlic.
  2. Further, saute ¼ onion and 2 tbsp spring onions.
  3. Also saute 2 tbsp green capsicum, ½ carrot, 2 tbsp red capsicum and ¼ cup sweet corn on high flame.
  4. Now add 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp chili sauce. Saute on high flame for 30 seconds.
  5. Add in 2 cups of cooked basmati rice along with ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp crushed pepper.
  6. Mix gently, without breaking rice grains.
  7. Finally, serve corn-fried rice with Gobi Manchurian gravy or enjoy it as it is.
